Holger Doering

Holger Döring is an Assistant Professor in Political Science and member of the SOCIUM Research Center at the University of Bremen. He received his PhD from the University of Konstanz in 2009 and was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in 2009/10. Recently, he was a visiting fellow at the University of Michigan (2015), Umea University (2016) and the University of Konstanz (2016/17). His research focuses on political institutions and democratic representation in advanced democracies and the European Union. He is the main author of ParlGov data infrastructure on parties, elections and cabinets (parlgov.org). His work has been published in the British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, Electoral Studies, European Union Politics and West European Politics.
