ABOUT THE MASTERCLASS

After the "Great Recession" the world has been recovering at different speeds, and when growth seems to be consolidating in most regions, there are new political changes and tensions that are causing uncertainty at a global level. At this Master Class presented by professor Gonzalo Garland, a top European economist and IE professor, you will be able to learn and discuss the current state of the economy in different areas of the world, such as North America, Europe, Japan and the emerging world. It will also discuss what we can expect will happen with monetary policies, exchange rate fluctuations, and employment prospects in these regions.
